The table above shows the high income figures that are possible if you let between 50 and 250 properties per annum.  It also shows how the income varies dependant upon the average rental price per month.

You can see that letting just 50 properties per annum can bring in income of between £32.4k and £61.2k,  100 properties = an income level of between £64.8k and £122.4k, right through to 250 properties showing an income of between £162k and £306k.

The average commission based on a 12% management fee per property per month is £54 (£450 rent), £78 (£650 rent) and £102 (£850 rent).

The figures on the next page show the turnover and profit forecasts for starting the business part time and full time.

The figures show that even working on a part time basis you can very quickly build up a sizeable residual income before making the decision to work in the business full time. Years 2 and 3 show you making profits of £36.5k and £64k based on turnovers of £52k and £85k respectively. The table also shows turnover and profits for years 4 to 7.

If you decide to work in the business full time we would expect your first year profits to be £36.5k on a turnover of £52k. Year 2 would be a £64k profit based on a turnover of £85k. The tables also show the turnover and profit figures for years 3 to 7.
